How to Use Coordinal
World Clock
Main Clock
The main clock displays your current local time with a beautiful digital clock face. Below it, you'll see the current day of the week, date, and whether daylight saving time is active in your timezone.
Additional Timezone Clocks
- Scroll down to the "Additional Time Zones" section
- Click the "+ Add Clock" button
- Select your desired timezone from the dropdown menu
- The clock will immediately display the current time in that timezone
- To remove a clock, click the "×" button in the top-right corner of that clock
- Your clock configurations are automatically saved in your browser
Timezone Coordinator
Adding Team Members
- Click on the "Timezone Coordinator" tab at the top
- In the "Add Team Member" section, enter a nickname (e.g., "Sarah", "John")
- Select their timezone from the dropdown
- Click "Add Member"
- Repeat for all team members you want to coordinate with
Checking Team Schedules
- In the "Target Date & Time" section, select a date and time
- The time you select should be in YOUR local timezone
- Scroll down to see what time it will be for each team member
- Each card shows the team member's name, timezone, and the corresponding local time
- Use this to find the best meeting time that works for everyone!
Managing Team Members
To remove a team member, click the "×" button in the top-right corner of their card. Your team member list is automatically saved in your browser for future visits.
Tips & Best Practices
- Keep Coordinal open in a tab to use as a quick reference clock
- Set up your most frequently coordinated teammates to save time
- Double-check the date when scheduling - timezone offsets can cause date changes
- Remember that the target date-time is in YOUR timezone
- Consider daylight saving time changes when scheduling far in advance
